Thanksgiving '04
Nonny Ruth, Cliff, DJ, Deedy, Doug, Nonny Pat and Betsy
In June Betsy graduated from UCLA with a degree in English and is now working for Team One USA Advertising Agency in Los Angeles. She is on the national Lexus account (YES, she has gotten to drive most of the Lexus models, but NO she does not have one and can't seem to get one for us either!) She lives in an apartment in Santa Monica with her roommate. Needless to say, she is enjoying being a California working girl! |
DJ graduated from Arizona State University in December with a degree in Communications and Education. YAHOO!! He is working for Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions selling on EBay and over the phone. (He did help get a transmission for Doug this summer! ) He lives with a roommate and his dog Samson in a house in Tempe and spends his free time wakeboarding and snowboarding. |
Cliff is a junior at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Finance and Accounting. He spent this past summer as an intern with Lockton Insurance in Los Angeles. This fall he has been busy as the CFO of a company he owns with four other Wash U students called "Off the Row." They do T-shirt screen printing and embroidery. He heads to London on January 1st where he will take classes at the Imperial College and work as an intern at J.P. Morgan/Chase. |
What a year! Deedy was named Scottsdale Charros Middle School Teacher of the Year in April and Arizona Ambassador for Excellence in Education in November. She will represent educators throughout the state making speeches and promoting teaching and learning in 2005. Look for her in the Fiesta Bowl Parade walking (or riding) with the Wells Fargo stage coach. Among her honors was this fabulous AZ Republic article written by good friend Tom Carey.
|
Tatum Partners continues to grow and Doug is busy building up his CFO and CIO practices in Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada. He travels to Denver each week for two days to work with the partners there. Recently he has opened Las Vegas. Although he has always liked airplanes, his real love is sailing and as a result he spends as much time at Lake Pleasant on our 28' Freedom as possible. We once again headed to Catalina Island in July on a chartered Freedom 32'. |
Having fun at the Pirates' Cruise in October.
